I thought it was great. Went when it wasn't too busy. Quick and friendly service. Had a steak and wine, will definitely dine here again.
Came in for dinner. Service was very prompt and immediate from the time I walked in until the time I walked out. My waitress attending my table checked up on me at least 5-6 times and they were pretty busy inside. I ended up ordering a porterhouse with a baked potato and side salad. Salad was loaded with croutons and fresh and had exact amount of the dressing as you would want. Felt pretty loaded with items to make it very enjoyable. The Steak came out exactly as I ordered it; medium rare and smothered. To be perfectly honest; I wasn't impressed with the "smothered" option. In fact I ended up pushing it to the side and didn't really eat with my steak. Overall steak was cooked and seasoned perfect and enjoyed every bite to the end. The bake potato was loaded with that good butter. The perfectly cooked potato caused the butter to get foamy and melt perfect into the potato making it one of my favorites at a place to eat. Had a Dallas blonde beer with it and enjoyed my visit. I definitely would come back if I visit Lubbock TX again.
We have eaten at this location before, and it was always a good place to eat. Tonight, we went with a large group for a wedding rehearsal dinner. We sat in their private room, as we had a fairly large party. From the time we walked in, the service was amazing. The manager greeted us at the door, and they showed us to the room. Reanna and Tosh took amazing care of our group. Took drink orders quickly, and then promptly took all of our food orders. Drinks were refilled quickly, and salads/appetizers come out in just a few minutes. The steaks and other entrees also came out quickly. Cooked perfectly, and served at the right temperature. Desserts were very large portions, but looked amazing. The thing that I have to come back to again is the great service we received. Whether for just a few people, or a large group, this is a great place to eat!
Did saltgrass just become one of my fave restaurants?! I came to saltgrass this evening to celebrate my mom's birthday. We had such a great experience. The mozzarella sticks were honestly the best I've had haha! They tasted fresh and well done. And also the Caesar salad with salmon was sooo delicious. We ordered cheesecake and the white chocolate sauce makes it spectacular. Would definitely come here again and all I would do differently is tryyy to eat less :/ bc everything was great! I also tried some of the baked potato soup and it's really good with a strong bacon flare. Our server was also so kind and sweet!
Have to start off saying that Cane our server was very nice and efficient. Food was really tasty. Prices were kinda high. Employees were friendly. Restaurant was clean.
